This policy covers LibreCam, the business camera app from Relantic, Inc. ("Relantic," "we," "us"). It says what we collect, what we do with it, who sees it, and what you control. It is part of our Terms of Service — read it with Terms Sections 4 and 5 (how LibreCam learns, and what leaves Relantic), 6 (anonymization), and 12 (export and deletion).

We do not allow health information, Social Security numbers, payment card numbers, or other sensitive categories (Terms Section 9).
How We Use It
- Run the service. Store, sync, organize, search, share, back up, and secure everything above.
- Train and improve AI. Your Content, content metadata (minus precise location), and Usage Data train, fine-tune, and improve our models after anonymization (Terms Section 6). This comes with the free service. You can stop it at any time by deleting content or closing your account (Terms Section 12). An enterprise plan keeps your content out of training and testing while you keep using LibreCam (Terms Section 13).
- Test AI models. Ours and other companies'. Tests may use Your Content before anonymization, on our systems or through the providers below. Results that leave Relantic are scores and summaries, never your content; item-level results go through Terms Section 6 first. We may publish or sell results (Terms Section 5).
- License our models and share aggregate statistics. Models trained only on anonymized data may be licensed to other companies, and aggregate statistics may be published or licensed. Your Content itself, anonymized or not, is never licensed or shared (Terms Section 5).
- Communicate. Service emails always; product updates you can unsubscribe from.
- Safety and legal. Prevent abuse, investigate incidents, comply with law.
We do not give your information to advertisers, and we do not use or build face recognition.

Advertisers and data brokers never see it. We have never sold personal information and we will not.

Security
Your content and data are encrypted at rest and in transit (TLS 1.2 or higher). Access inside Relantic is role-based, logged, and limited to people who need it for their job. Our security program is built around industry-standard frameworks, reviewed continuously, and backed by $1M in cybersecurity insurance. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data, we will notify you promptly and as the law requires, including under Ohio Rev. Code §1349.19 and California Civil Code §1798.82.
Your Rights and Choices
We give these to every LibreCam user, in every state:
- Access and export your data (in-app export tool, or privacy@relantic.com).
- Correct your account info (in-app).
- Delete content or your whole account (in-app, or email us). Terms Section 12 says exactly what deletion does.
- Unsubscribe from non-essential email (link in every message).
- Turn location off in your phone's settings at any time. Photos then carry no GPS data.
We respond to privacy requests within 45 days, verify it is really you first, and never treat you worse for exercising a right. If we decline a request, reply to our decision and a different person will review it.
California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
We collect the categories in "What We Collect" for the purposes in "How We Use It." We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as the CCPA/CPRA defines those terms. There is no "Do Not Sell or Share" link because there is nothing to opt out of. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as required.
De-identified data (Terms Section 6) is kept only in de-identified form. We commit not to re-identify it, and anyone who handles it for us commits to the same. If we determine that de-identified data did not meet that standard, we treat its use as a use of personal information: anyone who handled it must delete it, we notify affected California residents, and we provide any opt-out the CCPA then requires.
You have the rights to know, access, correct, delete, and port your information, and to limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not use sensitive personal information beyond what the law exempts. Exercise these rights at privacy@relantic.com or in the app. Authorized agents may submit requests with proof of authorization.
Ohio Residents
Ohio has no comprehensive consumer privacy statute today. We apply the rights above to you anyway, and we comply with Ohio's breach notification law (Rev. Code §1349.19).
Other States
If your state's privacy law gives you specific rights, we honor them through the same channels. Since we give access, correction, deletion, portability, and no-sale to everyone, you already have the substance of them.
Age Requirement (18+)
LibreCam is for working adults. You must be 18 or older to use it. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have, we delete it and close the account.
Changes to This Policy
Material changes get the same treatment as material Terms changes: email and in-app notice at least 15 days before they take effect, with prior versions archived at librecam.com/legal/terms.
